Purpose of the 6698 Personal Data Protection Law

The purpose of the 6698 Personal Data Protection Law ("Law") is to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, primarily the privacy of personal data, and to regulate the obligations and procedures to be followed by real and legal persons who process personal data.

Obtaining Personal Data

Your personal data is collected by Doğa Health ("Doğa Health" or "Hospital") in accordance with the 6698 Personal Data Protection Law ("Law") and relevant legislation, as the Data Controller, in the following ways:

  • For the purposes of public health protection, preventive healthcare, records related to your applications to our healthcare institutions, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of healthcare and its financing:
  • Verbally, in writing, visually or electronically,
  • Online through the SGK system,
  • From the records of other healthcare institutions in case you are referred to our healthcare institutions,
  • From your emails, call center call records, website, verbally, in writing and similar channels.

    • Customer Representative or Patient Service Records:

    • Accounting Information:
      • Bank account number
      • IBAN number
      • Information on credit card slips
      • Billing and financial data
    • Private Health Insurance and Social Security Institution Data:
      • Data for financing and planning healthcare services
    • Health Information:
      • Patient medical reports
      • Diagnostic data
      • Biometric and genetic data
      • Laboratory results
      • Test results
      • Examination data
      • Appointment information
      • Prescription information
      • Other health-related data obtained during medical services
    • Notifications:
      • Questionnaires filled out by patients
      • Thank you and complaint letters
      • Satisfaction results
    • Vehicle License Plate Information (if using parking lot)
    • Images obtained from camera recordings in common areas
    • Personal data obtained from participation in trainings, seminars, or organizations
    • Health data and other personal data entered on Doğa Health websites
    • Other Personal Data:
      • Resume (if applying for a job)
      • Personal data related to employment contract (if employed by Doğa Health)

Processing of Personal Data and Processing Tools

All personal data you provide to Doğa Health (including but not limited to special category personal data) may be processed for the following purposes:

  • To verify your identity,
  • Protection of public health, preventive healthcare, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of healthcare and its financing,
  • Planning and management of the internal workings and daily operations of our Hospitals and Medical Centers,
  • Procurement of medicines,
  • To be able to inform you about the appointment if you have made an appointment,
  • To carry out risk management and quality improvement activities,
  • To fulfill legal and regulatory requirements,
  • To verify your relationship with institutions that have agreements with our Hospitals and Medical Centers or to ensure that financial reconciliation is provided with these institutions regarding the healthcare services provided to you,
  • Sharing the requested information with private health insurance companies within the scope of healthcare financing,
  • Invoicing for our services,
  • Sharing the requested information with the Ministry of Health and relevant public institutions and organizations in accordance with the relevant legislation,
  • To take all necessary technical and administrative measures within the scope of data security of the systems and applications of our Hospitals and Medical Centers,
  • Analyzing your use of healthcare services and storing your health data for the purpose of developing and improving the healthcare services we provide to you,
  • Providing the necessary information in line with the requests and inspections of regulatory and supervisory bodies and official authorities.
  • To keep information about your health data that must be kept in accordance with the relevant legislation, and for the purposes of medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of healthcare and financing, increasing patient satisfaction, research
